Bridal Alterations: Your First Fitting/Fit Consultation can be scheduled as soon as your dress is purchased! Non-refundable First Appointment fee of $50 required to secure the slot, which is applied to your alterations fee total. Please note that only one (1) Appointment fee is credited per client. We recommend scheduling your first appointment/fit consultation a minimum of 16 weeks before your wear date for bridal alterations, however we offer Rush services at 8 weeks, 6 weeks, 4 weeks and 72 hour Turnaround services. All Rush services incur an additional fee and are subject to scheduling/staff availability.
Custom Design: Ideally, we recommend scheduling your initial Design Consultation around 8 to 9 months before your wear date for special occasion garments (prom, bridal, quincenera, etc). Our design process is detailed and includes multiple muslin fittings to ensure that your final look is everything you dream. Non-refundable First Appointment fee of $50 required to secure the slot, which is applied to your custom design fee total. In some instances, timeline can be reduced to a 6 month minimum. Rush services are not available for Custom Design.
If you are on a weight loss journey, we will happily accommodate to the best of our ability and schedule your first appointment a little further out to give you as much time as possible to meet your goal before fitting. This is a very Body Positive environment however, and our official policy is "Clothing fits the body, not the other way around." Be prepared to have your existing body fit and wrapped gloriously, no weight loss required or recommended.
Bridal Alterations: At your First Fitting/Consultation, our fitters will evaluate the overall silhouette and fit of your garment and make an alterations plan for your. We are happy to give your our expert opinion, however you will always have the final say on what items are touched and what aren't. Once the alterations plan is approved, sewing can begin. It is common and expected that your bodice and upper skirt are the focus of this appointment. At your Second Fitting, we will reassess the overall fit and shape of the bodice before moving into the lower skirt and hem/bustle. Customizations may also be evaluated for feasibility at this appointment. Edits and adjustments will be made as needed and excess cut upon client approval. At the Third Fitting, all previous work will be reassessed to ensure client satisfaction and adjust for minor weight fluctuation. Cups and bustle may also be reassessed. Your Fourth Fitting is your Pickup Appointment and can be scheduled as far out as the week of your wear date, however we recommend that you give yourself at least two weeks.
Custom Design: At your First Fitting/Design Consultation, we will discuss your design inspiration in depth and create a preliminary sketch. Our Designer will make fabric recommendations and technical expertise to develop the overall garment plan, and take measurements. The next two to three appointments, client will try on the muslin sample produced. Design and fit adjustments will be made in muslin before moving on to the fashion fabric. Fashion fabric samples will be chosen and ordered during these appointments, as well. Appointments Four to Six are dedicated to the final fabric garment and embellishments. Appointment Seven is the expected Pickup Appointment.
Bridal Alterations- A la carte alterations pricing can range from $25-$1000 and is always considered before flat rate pricing. Flat Rate Packages start at $1095 for bridal gowns and $295 for special occasion, however please don't hesitate to ask if your Designer or Retailer is a Preferred Partner for a special rate. Second looks can be added to any paid Flat Rate Bridal Alterations package for $250.
Custom Design- Flat rate Services start at $895 and include measurements, fabric and notions allowance. and patterning fee.
You'll need to be prepared for your fitting with the garment and any included accessories (sleeve, hood, cape, etc), your preferred undergarments/shapewear, and your shoes. Fashion tape is also recommended to have on hand, and we recommend using TopStick brand grooming tape. Topstick is available for purchase on site if you cannot find it in store near you.
You'll need to arrive to your first appointment with any expected shapewear (if you plan to utilize it), your expected heel height shoe, and lightweight, fitting clothing (i.e, tank top and leggings). This will allow us to take measurements without adding extra clothing bulk. The final choice shoe will be required by the third muslin fitting.
