Dear Women of the World,
“You could be so pretty . . . if only you were taller/shorter/skinnier/curvier, if only your hair was straighter/curlier/fuller/more ‘manageable’, if your eyes were bluer/greener/hazel, if only . . . “
It appears that women are constantly held to some arbitrary standard of beauty. The message seems to be that there is always something that needs to be ‘done’ for you to finally be considered beautiful, valuable, acceptable- If only you would perm/relax, if only you would gain or lose, and all you really need is a certain shape and you’d be perfect.
We disagree.
We believe that when God made man, He achieved His ultimate creation . . . and when He made Woman, He outdid Himself again! We are all created in total perfection, in our own personal and unique perfection. No man-made standard of beauty is big enough to even begin to attempt to define our perfection.
